There is an instructional manual on every chair’s page. You can refer to the video or pictorial instructions.

The chair is fully adjustable and has to be adjusted to the right setting suitable to your body condition. Some users may be accustomed to their bad posture while some users may have stiff muscles or an irregular spinal condition. They might not adapt to the correct ergonomics immediately and may need consultations from medical professionals.
We will suggest having a more subtle adjustment that does not induce too much discomfort initially before making more pronounce adjustments.

A small number of new chairs may take some time before the mechanism season itself, the lubricant will need some time to spread.
For older chairs, creaking is possible when dust and moisture buildup and form friction among the mechanism.
In any case, noise and sound are hard to be eliminated as there are bound to have contacts that rub against each other. They do not compromise the functionality of the chair.
-
The forward tilt lever should be used to release or lock position and does not need excessive force. The lever should be rotated, and not pulled or pushed. Adjustment should be done when the chair is upright and not at any tilt position.
Although the lever is made of structural steel usually used in bridges. Excessive force can break the lever, especially from leverage when the lever is designed longer for easy access. Overturning with force is not necessary and can snap the lever which is not covered in the warranty.

No, users should not sit on the armrest. We changed to a full nylon frame for the armrest instead of continuing with metallic fittings. Nylon is a strong and extremely durable engineering plastic, with outstanding bearing and wear properties.
The benefit of the nylon armrest is it requires no lubrication, and will not corrode from oxidation. This eliminates the problem of metal contacts corroding and eventually wear out, causing arms to creak or getting stuck.
The caveat is nylon has some self lubricating properties, the arm may slip upon great force. This should not happen if the user use the armrest solely for resting the arm while seating and not induce excessive force.
